Qualifications
• Genuine interest & passion in equity research in the financial industry, major in Economics & Finance, or STEM fields related area preferred
• Solid numerical skills. Knowledge in financial modeling/equity valuation is preferred but not mandatory
• Self-driven and detail oriented —apply sound judgment, and deliver high quality output under deadlines
• Strong organization skills, multi-tasking ability, and client service mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Japanese and English
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office
• Demonstrates interest in international markets with natural curiosity, critical thinking, logical thinking
Responsibilities
The assignment duration will be for more than 3 months from 3Q 2026 to support Equity Research team in Tokyo, 3-5 days per week
(duration and frequency negotiable depending on your school schedule).
• Working closely with senior analysts and team members to analyze companies and stocks and the factors that affect the industry
• Researching and critically analyzing market information, auditing company and industry data and statistics
• Assisting in compilation and writing of thematic sector and company research reports and investment recommendations for our clients
• Maintaining financial models
• Preparing pre-results and post results updates on companies
• Analyzing market share, macro trend, and cross company and sector data
• Working on company/sector specific project
