About the Role
Uber's Community Operations (CommOps) team is at the heart of delivering a world-class customer experience. We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern to drive insights and analytics that will enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall quality of Uber’s customer support operations. This role will involve deep-dive analyses, building dashboards, and developing data-driven solutions that improve support processes and drive strategic decision-making.
What You’ll Do
・Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities in Uber’s customer support operations.
・Conduct deep-dive analyses to provide insights that improve support processes and customer experience.
・Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics (e.g., CSAT, contact rates, resolution times).
・Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven decision-making.
・Work closely with the CommOps team to translate data findings into actionable recommendations.
What You’ll Need
・Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
・Basic proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
・Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Google Sheets.
・Fluent in spoken and written English and Japanese.
・Some experience with Python, R, or Excel for data manipulation is a plus.
・Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
・Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-echnical stakeholders.
