Background:

・We are hiring a Trainee who would like to develop skills which has been described in the below through expanding Societe Generale Japan DCM business as one of team member in Tokyo.

・This is a fixed term 12-month Trainee contract with Societe Generale with possibility of extension up to 2 years.

Main Responsibilities/ Mission:

・Support contributing and managing client relationships with target issuers in Japan. Help to identify and address clients’ needs in terms of raising capital in the debt capital markets.

・Assist in the preparation of marketing documents (market update, peer analysis, secondary pricing performance, primary pricing indications, pitch book, and replying clients’ requests)

・Monitor primary market developments (recent transactions, pipeline, and announcement)

・Perform regular research on latest product developments and potential/existing business opportunities

・Help to execute deals, and help to make sure the deals are in line with company’s compliance rule / other regulations (both internal and external regulatory rules)

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND AND CERTIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE

・Graduate and Master’s degree holder and students persuading Master’s degree are eligible to apply for this role

・Those who have less than 1 year of professional work experience are eligible to apply for this role

・Basically, be able to work 5 days per week (Mon -Fri), but can be flexible depending on reason

・Be able to start working from June or July 2022

・JSDA Class-1 Sales Representative (if not have license yet, would ask to take asap)

SKILLS:

・Strong analytical and communication skills

・Good knowledge of fixed income markets and derivatives

・Commitment to work demanding hours with a positive attitude

・Ability to multi-task and prioritize

・Willingness to step up in a small team environment

・Native level in Japanese and Business (or Native) level in English

・Good command of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Bloomberg would be a plus
