The Role
Our 4 weeks Intern Programme is designed for final year students. An Internship at Willis Towers Watson will give you valuable real-world experience while you are still a student. It will enable you to apply your education in an environment that is both intellectually challenging and rewarding. At the end of your time with us, you will have a greater understanding of what we do and how closely our career offerings match your career ambitions.
You will be treated in the same way as our new graduates receiving the same quality and quantity of work. It is the perfect opportunity to understand what you could expect if you joined our graduate programme the following year.
A role in Insurance Consulting is stimulating, challenging, exciting and extremely rewarding.
We require associates who are technically and mathematically minded, with the ability to solve complex and challenging commercial problems using innovative and proportionate approaches.
As consultants, it is necessary to build a strong technical skillset but also the ability to communicate complex concepts to audiences from a variety of backgrounds. We deal with actuaries, accountants, technologists, data scientists, insurance entrepreneurs, senior executives and other Board members. Each audience has different needs and knowledge and we need to tailor our communications to suit.
We are looking for candidates who are excellent in their own fields and are able and driven to apply their skillsets to work with clients to support them in delivering their strategy and objectives.
The Requirements
・Undergraduate/Graduate student in their final year. Graduate in year 2023
・Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English; Japanese skills will be highly valued.
・Ability to respond to all communications effectively and in a timely manner
・Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel will be highly valued
・Interested in actuarial profession. Actuarial exam progress towards actuarial qualification (FIAJ, FSA, etc) will be highly valued
